Copyright and DMCA Policy

Polst respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with applicable law, including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and we may remove or disable access to content that is the subject of a valid notice.

If you believe content on the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, please send a written notice to our designated agent at copyright@polst.io with the subject line "Copyright Notice."

To be effective, your notice should include: a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; a description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Service (for example, a URL); your contact information; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf; and your physical or electronic signature.

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to copyright@polst.io. Your counter-notice should identify the content and its location, include a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification, provide your contact information and consent to jurisdiction as required by applicable law, and include your physical or electronic signature.

We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, limit or terminate the accounts of users who are the subject of repeated infringement notices.

Submitting false or bad-faith notices or counter-notices may result in liability. If you are unsure whether particular material infringes your rights, you may wish to seek legal advice before submitting a notice.
